Totally organic, from its thick nubby threads to its eco-friendly dyes, the recycled Prairie Rug contains 30% more warp to create a tight weave and ensure longevity. Cold-water washable, each generously plush rug is handmade from locally grown high-grade Indian cotton recycled from residual textile materials. The vegetable dye rinse is so pure it is used to irrigate mangoes and crops in the Indian village where these rugs are made by local weavers whose Sustainable Furniture Council work benefits include a family health care plan.
